I (along with many people I'm sure) always think about the past. We want it back, we regret it, we want to change it. But i guess something we all need to remember is:

The past shapes us, it helps create us as we are today, but it shouldn't be us now, we need to stop living in a place that we can't get to.

We all spend too much time thinking about the past and the future, so much time that we actually forget that we are alive now.

My Words Inspired Someone

My friend was a little upset today, he has quite bad self esteem and some people don't have much respect for everything he's been through. Some body decided today to tell him that he was worthless and useless and that no one liked him. There are plenty of people who love this guy just for his strength to still face the world after what he's been through, so i casually reminded him that

It's better to be loved by a few than liked by a lot.

He told me that those words will stay with him forever. I've never felt so needed.

Hi Everyone :)


My name is BrickByBrick (not really, obviously) and I plan (no garantees) to post regularly regarding random quotes or things that have inspired me :) Little things I've heard, or places I've been, things I've seen or felt etc.
Sometimes I will probably babble on, other times might just be one sentence. Sometimes I might help, other times what I say won't help anyone.
